FAQ
What is a home watch service?
A home watch service provides scheduled, visual inspections of your home while it is vacant or unattended. The goal is to identify potential issues early — such as leaks, power outages, or storm-related concerns — and notify you before they become costly problems.
How often do you check the home?
Visits are customized based on your needs. Most clients choose weekly or bi-weekly visits, but flexible schedules are available depending on the home and time away.
Do you provide reports after each visit?
Yes. After each visit, you receive a report outlining what was checked, along with photos when appropriate, so you always know the condition of your home.
What do you check during a home watch visit?
Each visit includes a detailed interior and exterior visual inspection, which may include checking doors and windows, looking for signs of leaks or moisture, verifying power and AC operation, and observing the overall condition of the property.
Do you offer storm preparation and post-storm services?
Yes. We provide storm preparation services before severe weather and post-storm inspections afterward to help ensure your home is secure and identify any potential issues.
Do you coordinate repairs or vendors?
Yes. If an issue is found, we can help coordinate with approved vendors or service professionals, with your authorization.
Are you a property management company?
No. Empire Home Watch is not a property management company. We provide visual inspections and concierge-level oversight, not rental management or maintenance services.
Do you stay in the home during visits?
No. Visits are brief and professional, focused solely on inspection and oversight. We do not live in or occupy the home.
Do you care for pets or plants?
We can provide limited pet and plant check-ins as part of our concierge services. Details are customized based on client needs.
What areas do you serve?
Empire Home Watch proudly serves Coral Springs and surrounding South Florida communities.
Are wellness visits medical?
No. Wellness visits are non-medical and non-clinical. They are friendly check-ins focused on presence, observation, and reassurance.
Who are wellness visits for?
Wellness visits are ideal for seniors, individuals living alone, those recovering after surgery, or families who want someone reliable to check in when they cannot be present.
Will families be notified after a wellness visit?
Yes, with prior consent. Updates can be shared with designated family members or contacts.
